Descripción:
Devices known as Biological Microelectromechanical Systems (BioMEMS) are designed to interact with biological samples. An example involving cells is the injection of reagents through channels manipulated by Cartesian control of electric motors to ensure efficient dosing of the solution. These substances must maintain an appropriate liquid level. The objective of this work is the development and implementation of a Cell Recording Unit that is viable in terms of cost, reproducibility, cost-effective upgradability, and user-friendliness, enabling the measurement of in vitro cellular activity. This research focuses on a design that combines efficiency and quality, considering ISO 9001:2015 and NOM-241-SSA1-2012 standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Tests were conducted that resulted in precise operating ranges for the injection, micromanipulation, and suction systems, ensuring functionality and favorable results. The cell recording unit meets the requirements to maintain a continuous and adequate flow during microperfusion studies.
